Bio

I’m Tara, but many people just call me Coop. I love to solve problems – whether it’s putting together a jigsaw puzzle, mastering a new recipe in the kitchen, raising a little human or slaying it at Wordle. That’s what makes me tick, so it’s no wonder I made problem-solving my profession. With a focus on work tech, my real job is helping people understand the technology landscape and how it can help them power their future of work. And making sure we have a little fun in the process.

Prior to joining Mercer Leapgen, I spent 15 years helping to build  and execute on go-to-market strategy at brands like HireVue, SmashFly, Fetcher and Beamery where helping organizations find and retain the best talent was a top priority.  I also spent a number of years in an advisory capacity, helping early stage work tech founders understand the industry landscape and position their offerings to meet the evolving demands of the market.

Born and raised in Michigan, I received my BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Outside the office, you’ll find me biking, listening to a book on audible and hiking with my Pomeranian rescue dog.
