How do we create a new world of work?
Everyone is asking this question. I hear it everywhere. Which is funny, because it felt like not long ago we were obsessing over Y2K. As soon as we survived that milestone, we started waxing poetic about Workplace 2020. Mobile interfaces, the advent of a virtual workforce, a world without fax machines (gasp). We preached and planned and made lofty goals about making work better, making the execution of work easier.
Guess what? We’re 75 days away from 2020. What have we done? What have we accomplished in the last two decades? How easy is it to get things done in our organization compared to how easy it is to get things done outside of work?
It’s not too late. You have 75 days to plan. To take action. To set the table for 2020. Watch this #leapnow moment for my 2c on the new era of work.
